Inside Sales Representative/Retail Support Trainee

The Inside Sales/Retail Support Trainee is responsible for enhancing Bobcat’s sales coverage effectiveness and contributing to the Bobcat sales team success. Bobcat of the Rockies is seeking a candidate for a departmental trainee for Parts & Supply, and Rental Specialist, with the primary responsibility being Sales support and Inside Sales coverage. After learning Sales, trainee will spend 1- 2 months in each department, learning the ins and outs of our business.

$48,000 Base Salary plus commission on branch gross profit and flat amount for tractor/mower sales.

Responsibilities

Attending to Walk in Customers and Inbound Calls

  • Obtain Contact information.

  • Identify customer’s application and assess their needs.

  • Direct to the appropriate sales rep when necessary.

  • Product salesperson for compact tractors and attachments.

Sales Support, Reporting and Sales Process Management

  • Follow up, qualify leads and assign them to the appropriate sales rep.

  • Assist in customer unit pick up and or delivery.

  • Communicate and manage all sales department needs with the other branch departments to ensure equipment is ready and is as represented to the customer.

  • Coordinate branch transfers to and from the branch.

  • Verify paperwork for sales orders is correct before submission to asset management.

  • Verify all after sales reporting is done. (Delivery Reports, Extended Warranty Application etc.…)

Branch Support

  • Highly engaged team player working across all departments to support branch activities.

  • Handles inbound, unsolicited prospect calls or walk ins.

  • Supports branch manager in the smooth operation of the sales process in the branch.

  • Supports and covers Parts, Rentals, and Supply counter personnel when needed

Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the branch.

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent customer relation skills
  • Good computer systems skills (Office 365)
  • Ability to manage more than one task at a time
  • Ability to quickly learn and acquire product and application knowledge
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen

Physical Requirements

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.

  • Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb and balance, kneel, stoop, couch, and crawl.

  • Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.

  • Hearing and speaking to exchange information.
